/files/Csound-OSX/ This directory contains Csound packages for Mac OS X, specifically OS X 10.5 "Leopard" for now. Some of these packages mirror the ones that I am uploading to the Csound project on Sourceforge (). Others are test releases of Csound or accessory packages -- such as Loris4Csound -- that are only available here. In all cases, the full source code archives for all packages are also provided here, including all third-party libraries and build tools. thirdpartysources/ This directory contains all of the source archives for software needed to build Csound but that originated outside of the Csound project. Csound5.10-float-PPC-OSX10.5.tar.gz Binary Csound 5.10 distribution for Mac OS X 10.5 (PowerPC) using single-precision floats for calculations. Also includes a minimal Csound 5.08 installation for backwards compatibility with older Csound-based applications. Csound5.10.1-tagged-sources.tgz Csound5.08.2-tagged-sources.tgz Source code for Csound only in the 5.10/5.08 distribution above. These are the unmodified source code files as downloaded from Csound CVS for the corresponding tagged releases but with my own 'custom.py' and 'build' scripts. See Csound5.10-float-PPC-OSX10.5-sources-ReadMe.txt for a list of other third party source packages that you will also need to download (available in the "thirdpartysources" directory). Csound5.09-OSX10.5-PPC.tar.gz Binary Csound 5.09 distribution for Mac OS X 10.5 (PowerPC). This was a test release. Use 5.10 or newer now. Csound5.09-OSX10.5-PPC-sources.tgz Source code and packaging scripts for the above Csound package. Csound5.09-OSX10.5-PPC-sources.dmg This file was removed and individual files for the many different source packages are now available. See Csound5.09-OSX10.5-PPC-sources-ReadMe.txt for a list of what to download. Loris4Csound5.10-10.5-PPC.tgz Loris4Csound5.08-10.5-PPC.tgz Loris opcodes and Python extension for Mac OS X 10.5 (PowerPC). You can install both of these along with Csound 5.10 or newer. These are separate from the Csound packages because they are under a different license (GNU GPL). Anthony Kozar February 26, 2009
