Csound5.09-OSX10.5-PPC-sources.tgz Read Me ------------------------------------------ This archive along with several others in the "thirdpartysources" directory of my website contains the source code for everything that I needed to build and install in order to make the Csound5.09-OSX10.5-PPC.tar.gz package available at http://www.anthonykozar.net/files/Csound-OSX/Csound5.09-OSX10.5-PPC.tar.gz The following directories and files are provided herein: ReadMe.txt How I built Csound.txt Summary of the steps I took to build everything. csound-5.09.0 Csound sources, with slightly modified build scripts csound5_install Packaging scripts and resources from Victor Lazzarini (modified) To rebuild everything from scratch you will also need the following source archives for the many dependencies of Csound and the tools needed to build it: boost_1_36_0.tar.bz2 fftw-3.1.3.tar.gz fltk-1.1.9-source.tar.gz fluidsynth-1.0.8.tar.gz gettext-0.17.tar.gz gmm-3.1.tar.gz liblo-0.25.tar.gz libpng-1.2.32.tar.bz2 libsndfile-1.0.18pre24e.tar.gz loris-1.3.0.tar.gz lua-5.1.4.tar.gz portaudio_stable_v19_20071207.tar.gz portmidi-src-82.zip scons-1.1.0.tar.gz stk-4.3.1.tar.gz swig-1.3.36.tar.gz The original source archives for all of these things are available from this URL on my website: http://www.anthonykozar.net/files/Csound-OSX/thirdpartysources/ Only the Csound build scripts and packaging files have been modified. The actual source code files for Csound and its dependencies are identical to those released on their respective web sites. I did not need to modify the build scripts for any of the dependencies. Hopefully this is enough information for you to rebuild all of the binaries if you so desire. Newer versions of the dependencies can likely be used except for Loris (AFAIK).
